I’m Miranda! I live in Frederick with my husband, James, and three children. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with nearly 20 years of experience. I enjoy reading and being outdoors, and cheering my kids on in their sports. I love playing Balderdash and Apples to Apples, which leads to a lot of laughs and “heavy” competition with the kids. I have irresistible dance moves in the kitchen, and my husband and kids not only encourage me, they usually can’t help but join in the fun.
Why PLAN is my Passion:
I love PLAN for so many reasons. The kids we work with inspire me; learning new skills can be so hard and their perseverance is incredible. I love seeing the reaction when a child is successful or does something for the first time – the light in their eyes gets me every time! PLAN is such a happy place, and the laughter of the kids and staff is infectious. The staff at PLAN is second to none and I feel incredibly proud to work alongside them.
Hi, I’m Michelle! I enjoy the time I get to spend with my husband and our two beautiful little girls. We love traveling and exploring new places, watching family movies, and cooking or baking together. I love playing board and card games. Some of my favorites are Uno, Yahtzee, and Scrabble. I also love dancing and singing, especially while cooking or baking some delicious food!
Why PLAN is my Passion:
I always knew I wanted to work with others. There is nothing more amazing than working with individuals with unique needs, skills, and interests. I am so passionate about working alongside children who are in pursuit of their true potential and supporting them to achieve what they previously thought was a barrier or area of difficulty.
My name is Courteny. I am a mom to four active little boys who keep me busy! I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes going to the movies, shopping, and doing fun activities with my boys. I also enjoy throwing birthday parties! My kids are all into video games, so we have family Roblox time often.
Why PLAN is my Passion:
I am a PLAN original, one of the first two people to work for PLAN. I have worked with many children over the years and have experienced great joy watching each child grow and surpass expectations. Hearing a non-verbal child say their first word, or hearing another that has worked for months asking a spontaneous question—those are the reasons I love my job! I get to see firsthand how effective ABA therapy really is to these children, and it is so rewarding to feel like you had a part in making someone else’s life a little brighter.
My life is busy and full of joy with my fiance and our 3 children. When I’m not glued to the TV binging Real Housewives or Below Deck, I enjoy spending time with my kids and our extended family. I pride myself in being able to spread laughter and dominate a game of charades like a champ!
Why PLAN is my Passion
Kids are the future and I like being a helping hand that gets them on the right path to success.
Hello, I’m Vialeta. I am married to a wonderful hubby and we have a furbaby cat named Oreo. I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love watching YouTube vlogs, reality tv, and also reading books in my free time. My ultimate favorite hobby, however, is playing the piano and singing. I am a life-long music lover! My secret superpower is my awesomeness at retail therapy. I love all things cozy! My all-time favorite group board game is Catan. When I am by myself, I love playing Animal Crossing on my Nintendo Switch because it allows me to design and get creative!
Why PLAN is my Passion:
I am currently in a school counseling Master’s program at Hood College. I have always dreamed about working with children and helping them learn and develop. I have a big heart for individuals with special needs, as I grew up with a special needs family member. I cannot think of anything more rewarding than helping individuals become more independent, watching them build on their strengths, and seeing them live a fulfilling life!
The bottom line - we truly LOVE what we do and have as much FUN learning as your child will each day.
But, hey, don’t take it from us, here’s what some of our families have to say about us:

We are here to listen and help you get started on this journey. We would love to hear from you!
