PLAN Services

Our kids feel relaxed and at home at the PLAN center.

We chose to place our center in a beautifully converted home in downtown Frederick, with wide-open spaces that encourage learning and interaction. In this relaxed setting, we provide ABA-based treatments and therapies in various programs for kids and young adults, starting as young as 18 months and moving through early adulthood.

All PLAN services are center-based from our Frederick, Maryland location.

Little Fox Program

18 months through 5 years old

The Little Fox program is a dynamic early intervention program for preschool aged children. We teach school readiness behavior, communication, and social skills in a preschool-like fully integrated therapeutic program.

5 through 21 years old

Therapy with Integrated Social Time (TWIST) is a program as vibrant as the children and teens who participate. We facilitate meaningful relationships, conversation, and play through group activities, direct therapy and peer interaction.

Family Connections

All Ages

A child’s family is the most important component of their life, which is why family is such a huge part of our program. Through hands-on training, collaboration, and teamwork, the Family Connection connects families and helps support meaningful interactions between families and their child.

Our son received therapeutic services through PLAN from age 5 to 9. From in-home services and TWIST to observing him in the classroom and their participation in the IEP process, we are incredibly grateful for the support he and our family received. We've seen marked growth in his executive functioning and social skills, so much so that he recently graduated from TWIST. Now, as parents, we continue to work with the staff to help him apply what he learned in the new situations he encounters at school, at home, and with friends.

Our daughter Harper was diagnosed with Autism shortly after turning two years old. After about a year of driving all over the state, spending more time in the car than in actual therapies, a half hour here and a half hour there, seeing no progress whatsoever, we finally found PLAN. For the first time since her diagnosis we knew we were doing the absolute best we could do for our daughter. In her years at PLAN, Harper learned how to speak, how to interact with other children, she was potty trained, she learned her numbers, her colors, her birthday, how to write her own name, the list goes on and on. The therapists at PLAN loved Harper like their very own and we will be forever grateful for all that they did for our girl and for our family.

When we first received the diagnosis of autism we felt like our world had shattered from underneath us. During that same time we found PLAN and little by little all the pieces started to come back together again. Miranda and her staff have truly been a godsend to our family and we are beyond thankful to have had the opportunity to work with them over the years.
